this is by far the best discus ever made for upper level high school throwers. i have coached 3 males and 2 females[in 2 states] to championships throwing this discus. the 1k won in 2013 and 2016,2017 and 2018, in Montana. the 1.6k won Illinois championships in 1999, 2007 and 2011, and Montana in 2008 and 2009. note, i also had the Jurgen Schult model available for most of those throwers to use during their seasons, but when the gold was on the line it was the black Hyper Super Spin that entered the ring on Championship day. whether its innate ability to perform on less than ideal conditions, or its great feel in the hand, this discus will work over and above when called up.
