Construction & Frame

The premium aluminum alloy frame offers solid, weatherproof construction and a lightweight design.  The optional flight case makes it easy to move the display within the infield or transport it between events.  Because the display units are modular, a 2 panel display can easily be turned into a longer or taller display at a later date if necessary.

The Lynx Ultrasonic Wind Gauge is an affordable anemometer that utilizes WA-approved ultrasonic technology to provide accurate wind speed and direction data. The unit is a FinishLynx accessory that connects directly to an EtherLynx Camera, Connection Box, SeriaLynx unit, or computer serial port. This allows live wind gauge data to integrate seamlessly with FinishLynx.

The Lynx ultrasonic wind gauge is housed in a robust, corrosion-free polycarbonate casing. It is small, lightweight, and operates flawlessly in harsh environmental conditions. It also has no moving parts, ensuring maintenance-free operation throughout the year. The wind gauge package also comes equipped with a tripod, carrying case, and a 150′ serial connection cable for great mobility and easy setup.

Used to limit the time an athlete has to start their competition attempt in field events.

• Three 6" Green LED Digits with Green and Yellow indicators counts down from 9:59, each digit selectable.
• 2 Time presets (start time and signal time). Green signal is off during reset, on at start, changes to yellow at signal time.
• Optional tone can sound when timer reaches signal and end of time (switch on unit).
• Wireless remote control allows all functions with 20m range. Two AAA batteries required (not included). All controls also on side panel of unit (start, pause, reset, set1, set2, set3)
• Standard tripod mounting plate on bottom as well as 2 rubber feet for tabletop use.

Switches on the side of the display allow operators to select one of ten programmable functions and adjust timer settings.
