FieldLynx LITE Field Event Management

FieldLynx Lite is used exclusively with LaserLynx.

FieldLynx LITE is a field event administration app for Windows that allows officials to manage horizontal jumps, vertical jumps, and throwing events at track meets. FieldLynx LITE includes plugins to interface with wind gauges, distance measurement lasers, and compatible scoreboards. Unlike the full version of FieldLynx, FieldLynx LITE doesn’t require meet management database integration. Instead, it allows officials to capture, and display field event data and results in real time directly from a netbook. FieldLynx LITE comes complete with the following paid plugins:

Wind Gauge Plugin: For managing wind readings for horizontal jumps (long jump, triple jump, etc.)
LaserLynx Plugin: For laser measurement of horizontal jumps and throwing events (shotput, javelin, discus, etc.)
Scoreboard Plugin: For displaying real-time athlete and event data on a connected scoreboard.

FieldLynx LITE is a perfect choice for track and field officials who want to administer field events without having to communicate with a meet management database across a network. FieldLynx LITE allows you to display athlete marks, integrate with EDM laser distance measurement equipment, and import wind gauge readings in real time right from a netbook computer.

Load athlete and event details right from a local lynx.ppl file created in excel, notepad, or your meet manager program. Simply pull-up each athlete’s data one-by-one as the events progress and display their marks in real-time. Data entry is simple and intuitive and the software easily converts marks between Metric and Imperial measurements. All marks are then discarded when the next athlete is called. By broadcasting athlete and event data live to the scoreboard, you can keep fans informed about athlete performances throughout the meet.

FieldLynx Networked Field Event Software

FieldLynx is a FinishLynx-compatible software application for the scoring and administration of field events in athletics (track & field). The FieldLynx software connects with your meet management software and allows operators to access athlete listings, score events, and instantly upload results to any computers or scoreboards on the FinishLynx network. Data entry is simple and intuitive and the software easily converts marks between Metric and Imperial measurements. Share live event data across your network so you never have to retype athlete info and results again.

FieldLynx offers the complete field results production in the palm of your hand. Adding FieldLynx to any fully automatic timing network will enhance the speed, efficiency and quality of your athletics field events. The FieldLynx software allows users to interface seamlessly with devices and applications across the venue, including LaserLynx EDM units, scoreboards, wind gauges, and most track and field database applications. With FieldLynx, field event results can be entered directly to a Windows-based mobile device and shared instantly with scoreboards, officials, or announcers throughout the venue.

Custom Rules. Accommodate different Rule Books, including WA, NCAA, and NFHS high school
Five Alive Groups. Automatically generates “Alive” group for 3, 4, or 5 alive groupings. Can reconfigure groups as necessary.
Metric/English Conversion. Single-click, bi-directional conversions of athlete marks between English and Metric measurements.
Shareable. Share results data via both Serial and Ethernet connections

Build a Wired or Wireless Results Network

Many netbooks and mobile devices can communicate wirelessly on an AirLynx wireless network. FieldLynx devices can also interface with a range of devices simultaneously through a single serial port by connecting to a SeriaLynx unit. When combined with SeriaLynx, FieldLynx mobile devices can connect with LaserLynx distance measurement devices, wind gauges, and compatible scoreboards and displays. SeriaLynx devices can even be combined with AirLynx so devices can connect and share data wirelessly.

ResulTV is a digital display and graphic generation program that produces live results from FinishLynx timing systems. The Windows-based software allows FinishLynx operators to produce scalable results graphics for output on any compatible graphic displays and scoreboards. The ResulTV software can even produce high-quality dynamic images suitable for live broadcast television or internet video streams.

ResulTV can display any FinishLynx data (including athlete names, times, ID numbers, lane assignments, and affiliation). The software is also compatible with FieldLynx, ReacTime, and many 3rd-party meet management programs, which allows users to output start lists, athlete splits, running times, and live results.

ResulTV is designed to be an operator-free program that displays results data dynamically by using pre-configured layouts. But at more complex events, it’s also possible to have several ResulTV layouts active simultaneously so operators can toggle between layouts with a simple click.

This ability for customization means that operators can produce sophisticated, event-branded graphics for even the most complex sporting events. That’s why ResulTV has been trusted at the highest levels of competition, including the USATF National Championships and US Olympic Trials.
